Company History
Glennair was established in 1980 as a family run business and has grown in the past decade to become a SME. The organization employs ten full time staff and has the capacity to contract additional resource to meet business requirements. The strategy is to maintain sustainable growth whilst retaining quality, professionalism and family values.
Capabilities
Glennair holds EASA Part-147 approval for B1 and B2 maintenance type training on many different aircraft types.
In addition to the theoretical training approval Glennair also holds approval from the UK CAA to issue practical training certificates subject to assessment and verification of practical tasks undertaken under the auspices of an EASA approved Part-145 organisation.
The Glennair team of instructors have over 150 years experience between them. The majority of our training is conducted at our customer’s premises, with the appropriate authority facility approval. We have found through experience that this can provide a more cost effective solution for the customer.
Facilities
We have modern training facilities in Norwich, comprising of classrooms, a technical library and coffee lounge with free internet access for rest periods.
The Glennair Training Centre is conveniently located in the Business Aviation Centre at Norwich International Airport which has a wide range of hotel accommodation and amenities. There are regular connections, 40 minutes flying time to KLM's Amsterdam hub in Schipol. In addition our location can be reached by hourly train links to London’s airports, with a journey time of less than two hours.
