About the Course
EASA and UKCAA approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Type Training Courses consisting of theoretical and Practical Elements for the Diamond DA62 (Austro Engine) aircraft.
Upon successful completion, a Theoretical and a Practical Certificate of recognition will be issued.
Each student is required to maintain a minimum of 90% attendance and successfully pass all theoretical and practical assessments.
Theoretical Element
The theoretical course comprises of instructor-led tuition, aircraft visits, and examinations whilst focusing on the tasks required of the aircraft engineer operating in a line and base maintenance environment.
The course provides training on airframe, electrical, power plant and avionics systems. Phase examinations will be held at intervals throughout the course, with correct examinations for the certificate requested.
Practical Element
The Practical element comprises of instructor led tuition, performance of tasks conducted in a maintenance environment and assessment of the students’ attitude, knowledge and skills.
